Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku whiplash syndromu. Práce je zpracována formou rešeršní studie. Práce má dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část shrnuje dosavadní poznatky o fyziologii, mechanismu whiplash injury a patofyziologii. Dále obsahuje klasifikaci, terminologii, diagnostiku a terapii whiplash syndromu. Součástí práce je i kazuistika pacientky s whiplash syndromem.The subject matter of the bachelor thesis is whiplash syndrome. The thesis has the form of a research study and is comprised of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part summarizes current knowledge of physiology, the mechanisms of whiplashinjury, and whiplash pathophysiology. It further covers classification, terminology,diagnostics, and therapies related to whiplash syndrome. The thesis also includes a case reportof a patient suffering from whiplash syndrome.
