Diplomová práce se zabývá prožíváním a zvládáním onkologického onemocnění z pohledu rodinných příslušníků pacienta. V teoretické části se věnuje základům onkologické problematiky a fázím vyrovnávání se s onemocněním. V další části rozebírá emoce a psychické stavy spojené s onkologickým onemocněním. Následují strategie zvládání, resilience a sociální opora. Výzkum byl proveden na základě 10 rozhovorů s rodinnými příslušníky onkologických pacientů. Výběr participantů byl proveden prostým záměrným výběrem. Hlavním tématem rozhovorů je zachycení prožívání onemocnění, vnímání vlivu onemocnění na respondenta a na vztah s onkologickým pacientem. Výzkumným cílem je porozumění prožitkům a zvládání onkologické nemoci ze strany rodinných příslušníků. Data jsou zpracována kvalitativní metodou, konkrétním nástrojem je IPA. Výsledky nabízí náhled na prožívání, zvládání a vliv onemocnění na blízké osoby. Ukazují, že onemocnění má vliv na život respondentů například v oblasti větší snahy prožívání přítomnosti. Onemocnění má také vliv na prožívání vztahu s pacientem, respondenti pociťují k pacientovi například větší emoční blízkost. Onkologická onemocnění mají také mnoho dalších vlivů, které jsou uvedeny v práci.This thesis focuses on the experience and coping with the oncological diseases from the perspective of patient's family members. The theoretical part analyses basics of oncological issues and the stages of coping with the disease. The next part discusses emotions and mental states associated with cancer. After that we can find coping strategies, resilience, and social support. The research part is based on 10 interviews with family members of oncological patients. The selection of participants was made by a simple deliberate choice. The main topic of the interviews is to capture the experience with the disease, the perception of the impact of the disease on the respondents and its impact on the relationship with the oncological patient. The main aim of the research was to obtain an insight into experience and coping of the family members. Qualitative method with specific IPA tool was used to process the research. The results offer insight into the experience, coping and impact of the disease on family members. It shows that the disease affects respondent´s lives, for example in experiencing the presence. The disease also affects the experience of relationship with the patient, for example, respondents feel more emotional closeness to the patient. Oncological illnesses also have many other impacts, that are discussed in the thesis.
