Diplomová práce je zaměřena na vyhodnocení kvality barevných stupnic v Atlase krajiny ČR. Teoretická část obsahuje rešerši problematiky barevných prostorů, barevných stupnic a správy barev. Na základě získaných poznatků z teoretické části byl vybrán vhodný barevný prostor, grafický program a metoda výpočtu barevných vzdáleností pro tuto práci. V praktické části byly naměřeny hodnoty barevných odstínu barevných stupnic kartogramů v Atlase krajiny ČR a vypočítány barevné vzdálenosti mezi barvami intervalů, barevné vzdálenosti barev intervalů od bílé barvy a barevné vzdálenosti barev intervalů od barvy pozadí. Dále byly definovány hypotézy, které byly statistickým vyhodnocením potvrzeny nebo vyvráceny. Vybrané barevné stupnice byly přepracovány a zpracovány do nových map. Výsledkem práce je seznam doporučení pro tvorbu barevných stupnic.This diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of the quality of color schemes in Landscape Atlas of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part contains research of color spaces, color schemes and color management. Suitable color space, graphic program and color distance calculation method was chosen based on the research from theoretical part. In the practical part, the color shades values in the color schemes of the choropleth maps in the Landscape Atlas of the Czech Republic were measured, followed by calculation of the color distances between the interval colors, the color distances of the interval colors from the white color, and the color distances of the interval colors from the background color. As the next part of the thesis, the hypotheses were formed and later accepted or rejected using statistical analyses. Selected color schemes were reworked and processed into newly created maps. The result of this thesis is a list of recommendations for choropleth map color schemes creation.
