Bakalářská práce "Komparace postavení starosty v České republice a na Slovensku" se zabývá rozborem celkového postavení starostů obou zemí. Problematika je řešena hlavně z pohledu jejich postavení, voleb a pravomocí, nýbrž také v oblasti předpokladů na funkci starosty, neslučitelnosti funkce nebo individuálními vztahy starosty k ostatním orgánům obce. Práce přináší rovněž i výhody a nevýhody k jednotlivým aspektům v rámci jejich srovnání. Obě země se v celkovém postavení starosty liší zásadně.My bachelor thesis "The comparison of the position of the mayor in the Czech Republic and Slovakia" deals with the analysis of the mayors in both countries. This issue is mainly solved from the view of their position, elections and competencies, but as well as prerequisities and incompatibility of their function or individual relationships of the mayor to other authorities of the municipality. The thesis also brings advantages and disadvantages of particular aspects of both mayors within their comparison. Both countries differ in overall post of the mayor fundamentally.
