Tématem této práce je pojetí společensky vytvořeného konceptu genderu z pohledu drag queens žijících v České republice. Práce se skládá ze dvou stěžejních částí - teoretické a empirické. Teoretická část pojednává o klíčových termínech pojících se s problematikou genderu a cross-dressingu. Empirická část je věnována přiblížení výzkumné metody a procesu, na jehož základě práce vznikla. Výzkum, který proběhl formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů, přinesl zásadní informace o pojetí genderu, tak jak jej vnímají čeští drag performeři.The theme of this essay is the conception of a socialy created concept of gender from the view point of drag queens living in the Czech republic. This paper consists of two major parts - theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part talks about the lead terms related to the issue of gender and cross-dressing. The empirical part is dedicated to the chosen approach and process, on which the base of this esseay was build on. The research, which was carried out by the form of semistructured interview, brought the essential informations about the conceptions of gender viewed by the czech drag performers.
