Cílem této práce je překlad a analýza knihy The Sex Lives of Cannibals: Adrift in the Equatorial Pacific od J. Marteena Troosta. Před samotným překladem bude provedena stručná analýza výchozího textu na základě modelu Nordové. Analýza překladu bude zaměřena zejména na překlad humoru a kulturně specifických prvků.The goal of this thesis is the translation and analysis of The Sex Lives of Cannibals: Adrift in the Equatorial Pacific from J. Marteen Troost. An analysis based on Nord's model will be conducted before the translation itself. The analysis of the translation will be focused especially on the translation of humour and culturally specific features.
