Práce se zabyvá srovnáním tvoření názvů rostlin v německém herbáři Hieronyma Bocka a v českych překladech herbáře Pietra Andrea Mattioliho. Úvodní část práce je věnována rozboru makrostruktury a mikrostruktury starych bylinářů na příkladu díla Hieronyma Bocka, V praktické části práce je srovnána slovotvorba a sémantická motivovanost názvů rostlin, které byly excerpovány ze zmíněnych herbářů. Cílem práce je jednak již zmíněné srovnání, jednak poukázání na možnosti využití mnohdy opomíjenych botanickych textů k lingvistické analyze.The master's diploma thesis is concerned with the creation of plant names in the German herbal by Hieronymus Bock and in the Czech translations of the herbal by Pietro Andrea Mattioli. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to the analysis of macrostructure and microstructure in the old herbals on the example of the herbal by Hieronymus Bock. In the practical part of the thesis, the word-formation and the semantic motivation of the Czech and German plant names from the herbals mentioned above are analyzed and compared. The goal of the thesis is to linguistically compare the plant names in Czech and German and to use awareness of the potential of botanical texts for further linguistical analyses.
