Předmětem této bakalářské práce je zkoumání čtenářských návyků a preferencí u studentů Univerzity Palackého a studentů vybraných ruských univerzit - Kostromské státní univerzity, Tomské státní pedagogické univerzity a Petrohradské státní univerzity. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretickou část tvoří čtyři kapitoly. V první kapitole je čtenář seznámen s problematikou čtení, jakožto i s výsledky již uskutečněných vybraných výzkumů v Česku a Rusku. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na čtenáře, jejich typologii a motivaci ke čtení. Třetí kapitola popisuje čtenářskou socializaci, jsou zde představeny faktory, které pomáhají utvářet vztah čtenáře ke čtení. Čtvrtá kapitola je věnována sociálnímu výzkumu se zvláštním důrazem na dotazování jako na techniku sběru dat. Praktická část nabízí výsledky výzkumů provedených v českém i ruském prostředí, jejich následné porovnání a vyhodnocení výsledků.The aim of this bachelor's thesis is the study of reading habits and preferences of Palacký University students as well as students of selected Russian universities - Kostroma State University, Tomsk Pedagogical University and St. Petersburg State University. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part consists of four chapters. The first one introduces the topic of reading and the results of previous research conducted in both the Czech Republic and Russia. The second chapter focuses on the readers, their typology and reading motivation, while the third chapter describes reading socialization along with the introduction of factors, that help build the relationship of readers towards reading. The final chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to the social research with focus on additional questioning as a data collection method. The empirical part of the thesis presents the results of research, which was carried out in both Czech and Russian environment, the comparison of the results and further evaluation.
