Tato diplomová práce se věnuje obrazu ženy v polských filmových kronikách v letech 1949-1954. Je představen stručný zárys padesátiletým obdobím působení týdeníku, se zaměřením na stalinismus, ve kterém byla zesílena propaganda směrem k ženám. Významnou část tvoří ukázky a interpretace reportáží, které představují ženu v různých oblastech jejího života. Práci uzavírá kapitola věnovaná slovotvorbě, konkrétně pak neologismům tohoto období.This master's thesis deals with the image of a woman in Polish Film Chronicles from 1949-1954. A brief outline of the fifty-year period of the weekly's activities is presented, with a focus on the Stalinist period in which propaganda towards women was intensified. A significant part of the thesis consists of excerpts and interpretations of reports that present women in different areas of their lives, in line with the aims of the political endeavour that were presented to the audience through PKF. The master's thesis concludes with a chapter focusing on word formation that deals with the neologisms of this particular period.
