Po terminologickém vymezení chyby jako odchylky od normy seznamuje předložená disertační práce s funkcemi chyby v lidském učení. Následuje charakteristika základních prvků školního prostředí uzpůsobeného pro práci s chybou. Obsah poslední kapitoly teoretické části práce vysvětluje, jak se utváří hodnota chyby. V praktické části práce je pomocí smíšeného výzkumného designu s převahou kvalitativní metodologie zkoumána hodnota chyby pro studenty učitelství pro 2. stupeň základních a středních škol na PdF UPOL. Konkrétně je zkoumána hodnota vlastní chyby, chyby žáků a chyby obecně. Hodnota chyby žáků je zkoumána v kontextu školního hodnocení.After the terminological definition of errors as deviations from the norm, the presented dissertation acquaints with the functions of errors in human learning. After that, the basic elements of the school environment adapted to learning from errors is described. The last chapter of the theoretical part of the thesis explains how the value of error is formed. In the practical part of the dissertation, the value of error for students of teaching for the secondary schools at PdF UPOL is investigated using mixed research design. Specifically, the value of one's own mistake, students' mistakes, and mistakes in general are examined. The value of pupils' error is examined in the context of school evaluation.
