Tato práce se zabývá korespondencí Jana Zahradníčka a Františka Hrubína. Východiskem práce je předpoklad persvazivní funkce Zahradníčkových dopisů, které byly adresovány Františku Hrubínovi. Hlavním cílem práce je analýza komunikační strategie Jana Zahradníčka a poznání aspektů vztahu Zahradníčka k Hrubínovi a Halasovi. Výzkum korespondence Zahradníčka a Hrubína je podložen korespondencí Jana Zahradníčka a Františka Halase, paměťmi Bedřicha Fučíka a dopisy Fučíka Mojmíru Trávníčkovi. Interpretace vlastní tvorby Jana Zahradníčka, Františka Hrubína a Františka Halase doplňuje fakta o komunikační strategii autorů a jejich uměleckém výrazu v korespondenci.This thesis follows up correspondence between Jan Zahradníček and František Hrubín which were exchanged in form of written letters between 1937-1950. The key point of this thesis is the assumption of the persuasive function of Zahradníček's letters, which were addressed to František Hrubín. My main focus was analysis of communication strategy of Jan Zahradníček and also to determine key aspects of his relationship to Mr. Hrubín, and to Mr. Halas as well. My research of their correspondence is substantiated with Zahradníček's comunnication with František Halas, memoirs of Bedřich Fučík, even correspondence which Mr. Fučík addressed to Mojmír Trávníček. The interpretation of Jan Zahradníček's, František Hrubín's and František Halas's writing complements the facts about the authors communication strategy and their artistic expression in their correspondence. My objective was making complete summarization of all available knowledge about Jan Zahradníček's personality and also mutual influence between him and Františk Hrubín. Starting point of this thesis is assumption of František Hrubín's dominant position in comunication between him, František Halas and František Hrubín. Main resource was correspondence called Ve znamení "jadis", elements of author's personal style and poetry of Jan Zahradníček. Analysis shown, that artistic elements of communication were largely restrained. On the other hand between the years 1940 and 1942 artistic expression dominated discussions about writings and intimate talks about psyche, God, and the world. However after 1944 Hrubín's personality and his art moved away from Jan Zahradniček's. Zahradníček's religious believes caused conflict of values between him and Mr. Hrubín, just like it was between him and Mr. Halas. Mostly because of his intolerance to any other existential attitude. We can observe that in reduction of frequency of their writing and reduction of whole scope of Hrubín's letters. Afterwards their correspondance continued just to keep in touch with each other and exchange information. Zahradníček´s religious believes was too important to him, even more than friendship with František Halas and František Hrubín. Image of Jan Zahradníček was completed and based on correspondance with Mr. Hrubín and Mr. Halas, interpretation their poems and personal testimonies of his closed co-workers.
