Diplomová práce je zaměřena na profesi speciálního pedagoga a jeho působení ve školském poradenském zařízení. Je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. V teoretické části je popsána problematika inkluzivního vzdělávání v České republice, je vymezen termín inkluze a integrace, je nastíněna úroveň inkluze ve vybraných zahraničních státech. Následně je popsán český školský poradenský systém. V poslední kapitole teoretické části je přiblížen historický vývoj profese speciálního pedagoga, legislativní vymezení, dále jsou popsány předpoklady pro výkon této profese a nastíněna náplň práce. Praktická část se formou kvalitativního výzkumu věnuje nahlížení na svou profesi samotnými speciálními pedagogy působící ve školských poradenských zařízeních.The diploma thesis on the profession of a special education teacher and its role in the special counselling centre. There are two parts, the theory part and the practical part. The theoretical part describes issues and challenges of inclusive education in the Czech Republic. It defines the meaning of inclusion and integration and it outlines the level of inclusive education in specific foreign countries. Following with the description of the school counselling system in the Czech Republic. The last chapter illuminates how the profession of a special education teacher has evolved throughout history, it defines the legislation of this profession, it highlights the core skills needed and duties of a special education teacher. The practical part looks at qualitative research used by the special education teachers themselves analysing their own profession.
