Úvod: Práce je zaměřena na jednu z tzv. expresivních terapií - na muzikoterapii. Výzkumy ukazují na její příznivý vliv na různé skupiny klientů, včetně klientů s různými druhy onemocnění. Cíl: Zjistit, jaké jsou možnosti využití prvků muzikoterapie v konkrétním domově pro osoby se zdravotním postižením. Metodika: Je založena na kvalitativním výzkumném designu. Ke sběru kvalitativních dat sloužilo zúčastněné pozorování, rozhovor pomocí návodu a studium dokumentace o účastnících. Výsledky výzkumného šetření byly posléze syntetizovány v kazuistikách. Výsledky: Z výsledků výzkumného šetření vyplývá, že absolvovaná sezení s prvky muzikoterapie měla na oba účastníky pozitivní vliv. Ten spočíval v závislosti na charakteru využitých prvků muzikoterapie v pozitivním ovlivnění jak fyzického zdravotního stavu, tak i stavu psychického. Závěr: Zjištění výzkumného šetření korespondují s výsledky jiných obdobně zaměřených výzkumů. Ke zlepšení identifikovaného stavu v konkrétním zařízení sociálních služeb byla formulována některá doporučení.Introduction: The thesis focuses on one of the expressive therapies - the music therapy. Research projects show its favourable effect on various groups of clients, including clients with different kinds of diseases. Objective: To find out the possibilities of using music therapy elements in a specific home for people with health disabilities. Methodology: It is based on a qualitative research design. To collect qualitative data, the methods used were participant observation, semistructured interview, and studying of the documentation on participants. The results of the research were later synthetised in case reports. Results: The results of the research show that the sessions conducted using music therapy elements had a positive influence on both participants. The positive influence, depending on the character of the music therapy elements used, was witnessed both in a positive effect on the physical health conditions, and the mental condition. Conclusion: The findings of the research correspond with the results of other research projects with a similar focus. Certain recommendations were formulated to improve the identified situation in the specific social service facility.
