Práce je zaměřena na představení služby kostelníka zejména v souvislosti s přípravou liturgického slavení v jeho nejrůznějších podobách. Tato práce však uvádí kostelníka například také jako průvodce chrámovými uměleckými díly či jako literární postavu. Autor v práci seznamuje čtenáře s řadou svých předchůdců v kostelnické službě i se svojí vlastní cestou k této službě. Stejně tak práce nechává nahlédnout do duchovního prožívání autorova všedního dne ve službě kostelníka.The diploma thesis deals with the presentation of the service of the sacristan. It focuses especially on the role in the preparation of liturgical celebration in its various forms. Furthermore, the thesis also deals with the role of the sacristan as the guide to church works of art or as a character in literature. The author of the thesis outlines his predecessors in the office of sacristan and his own journey to the service as sacristan. Finally, yet importantly, the thesis gives insight into the everyday spiritual experience of the author's ordinary day in the service of the sacristan.
