Cílem předložené bakalářské práce je poukázat na stále živý a aktuální duchovní odkaz Alfonse z Liguori a hlouběji analyzovat některá jeho vybraná témata. Práce je rozdělená do tří kapitol. První kapitola se věnuje převážně jednotlivým obdobím světcova života. Druhá kapitola představuje Kongregaci Nejsvětějšího Vykupitele, řád, jehož byl Alfons zakladatelem. Hlubší analýzou tří vybraných témat a z duchovního odkazu Alfonse - Matkou Boží, Eucharistii a modlitbou jako prostředkem spásy - se zabývá poslední, třetí kapitola.The aim of the presented bachelors thesis is to point out the still alive and current spiritual legacy of Alfons of Liguori and to analyze in more depth some of his selected topics. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals mainly with individual periods of the saint's life. The second chapter presents the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, an order of which Alfons was the founder. The last, third chapter deals with a deeper analysis of three selected themes and of Alfons' spiritual legacy - the Mother of God, the Eucharist and prayer as a means of salvation.
