Cílem této práce bylo zjistit případné souvislosti mezi výskytem depresivních symptomů, integritou a zoufalstvím ega z konceptu Eriksonova psychosociálního vývoje a vybranými psychosociálními charakteristikami, a to konkrétně emocionální osamělost, plánování do budoucnosti, okolnosti bydlení, zdravotní stav, pohlaví a nejvyšší dosažené vzdělání u osob nad 65 let. Seniorům jsme administrovali Subjektivní stupnici deprese (BDI-II), Škálu integrity ega Ryff a Heincke (RHEIS) a dotazník vlastní konstrukce. S využitím statistických metod jsme porovnávali rozdíly mezi mírou depresivních symptomů, integritou a zoufalstvím ega, pohlavím a počtem bodů v BDI-II, emocionální osamělostí a mírou depresivních příznaků a ego integritou, mezi vzděláním, okolnostmi bydlení, zdravotním stavem a integritou ega a mezi plánováním do budoucnosti a mírou depresivních příznaků a ego integritou. Výsledky ukázaly u seniorů slabou závislost mezi mírou depresivních symptomů, integritou a zoufalstvím ega, vliv emocionální osamělosti na počet dosažených bodů v BDI-II a integritu ega a vliv plánování do budoucnosti na míru depresivních symptomů. Dále jsme prokázali rozdíl v míře depresivních příznaků u mužů a žen. Podle našich zjištění na integritu ega nemá vliv soužití s rodinou, zdravotní stav, úroveň vzdělání a plánování do budoucnosti.The aim of this thesis was find out eventual connections between occurrence depressive symptoms, integrity and the despair of the ego from the concept of Erikson's psychosocial development and selected psychosocial characteristics and concretely emotional loneliness, planning for the future, housing circumstances, health condition, sex and the highest level of education attained by persons over 65 years of age. We gave it to the seniors to fill in the Subjective scale of depression (BDI-II), the Integrity scale of ego Ryff and Heincke and home design questionnaire. With the use of statistic methods we were comparing the differences between rate of depressive symptoms, integrity and despair of the ego, sex and the number of points in BDI-II, emotional loneliness and rate of depressive symptoms and ego integrity, between education, housing circumstances, health condition and ego integrity and between planning for the future and the rate of depressive symptoms and ego integrity. The results showed a weak dependence between the rate of depressive symptoms, integrity and despair of the ego, the effect of emotional loneliness on the number of points achieved in BDI-II and integrity of the ego and the effect of planning for the future on the rate of depressive symptoms in the elderly. We also showed the difference in the rate of depressive symptoms in men and women. According to our findings, coexistence with the family, health condition, level of education and planning for the future do not affect ego integrity.
