Cílem této práce bylo prozkoumat psychometrické charakteristiky české verze HSAS. Teoretická část nejdříve popisuje humor obecněji, poté představuje poznatky ohledně hodnocení struktury humoru. Také jsou zde popsány osobnostní charakteristiky, které mohou souviset s hodnocením humoru. Pro tento výzkum byl zvolen kvantitativní přístup. Výzkumná část byla rozdělena do dvou studií. První studie byla provedena pomocí dotazníkového šetření a měla za úkol poskytnout překlad a ověřit reliabilitu a faktorovou strukturu české verze HSAS. Metoda sběru dat byl dotazník. Výzkumný soubor, který čítal 143 respondentů byl vybrán příležitostným výběrem. Výsledky ukazují, že má česká verze HSAS uspokojivou reliabilitu i faktorovou strukturu a může být tedy používána pro hodnocení struktury humoru v českém prostředí. U druhé studie je typem výzkumu korelační studie a má za úkol prozkoumat vztahy mezi HSAS, sensation seeking a potřebou kognitivního uzavření. Metodou sběru dat byl dotazník a výběr vzorku, který čítal 102 respondentů, byl příležitostný. Výsledky potvrdily vztah mezi HSAS a potřebou kognitivního uzavření. Nicméně vztah mezi HSAS a sensation seeking se potvrdit nepodařilo.The aim of this theses was to examine the psychometric properties of the czech version of the HSAS. The theoretical part first describes humor in more general, then presents knowledge about the humor structure appreciation. It also describes personality characteristics that may be related to humor appreciation. The research part was carried out by quantitative approach. The research part was divided into two studies. The first study was carried out using a questionnaire survey and the aim was to provide a czech translation of the scale and examine the reliability and internal structure of the czech version of the HSAS. The method of data collection was a questionnaire. The research set which consist of 143 respondents was selected by occasional sampling. The results showed that the Czech version of HSAS has a satisfactory reliability and internal structure and can therefore be used to measure humor structure appreciation scale in the Czech context In the second study, the type of research was a correlation study and the aim was to explore the relation between HSAS, sensation seeking and the need for cognitive closure. The method of data collection was a questionnaire and the research set which consist of 102 respondent was selected by occasional sampling. The results confirmed the relation between HSAS and the need for cognitive closure. However, the relation between HSAS and sensation seeking was not confirmed.
