Práce se zabývá problematikou Kurzu základní přípravy pro profesionální vojáky z pohledu účastníků kurzu. Práce vymezuje teoretické pozadí vybraných sociologických a antropologických témat a následně je propojuje s výsledky získaných z osmnácti rozhovorů s účastníky kurzu. Klíčová témata, která jsou v práci uvedena, např.: transformace, armádní kultura, role vojáka a další, jsou výsledkem analýzy rozhovorů. Práce uvádí čtenáře do problematiky a vývoje vojenské antropologie a poté přechází k teoretickému vymezení konkrétních témat týkajících se samotné armády. Následně čtenář získává pohled na skutečné zkušenosti osob, které byly součástí kurzu základní přípravy a účastnily se tohoto výzkumu.The thesis deals with the issue of the Basic Training Course for Professional Soldiers from the point of view of the course participants. The thesis defines the theoretical background of selected sociological and anthropological topics and interconnects the results obtained from eighteen interviews with the course participants. The key topics that are presented in the work, such as: the transformation, military culture, role of a soldier and so on, are the results of the analysis of interviews. The thesis introduces the reader to the issues and development of military anthropology and then moves on to the theoretical definition of specific topics that are governed by the military. Subsequently, the reader gains insights into the real experiences of people who were part of the basic training course and participated in this research.
