Tato práce se zabývá analýzou vybraných tabu témat v dílech autorů pro děti a mládež. Téma smrti je analyzována v díle Alter John od německého autora Petra Härtlinga, šikana ve škole v knize Sonst bist du dran od Renate Welsh, násilí v rodině v knize Elefanten sieht man nicht od Susan Kreller a postižení v knížce Planet Willi, kterou napsala Birte Müller. Důraz se klade na obsahovou analýzu jednotlivých tabu a na to jak tabu ovlivňuje chování lidí. Součástí práce je i kapitola věnující se pojmu tabu, jeho fungování a také klasifikaci tabu.This work deals with the analysis of selected taboos in the works of authors for children and youth. The theme of death is analysed in Alter John by German author Petr Härtling, bullying at school in Renate Welsh's Sonst bist du dran, family violence in Susan Kreller's Elefanten sieht man nicht, and disability in Planet Willi by Birte Müller. The main focus of the thesis is content analysis of individual taboos and on how taboos affect people's behaviour. The thesis also contains a general chapter about the concept of taboo, its functioning and the classification of taboos.
