Tato magisterská práce se věnuje sloupkům, které nizozemská spisovatelka Nina Weijers publikovala v letech 2015-2019 v týdeníku De Groene Amsterdammer. Tyto sloupky jsou nejprve analyzovány z pohledu žánrové typologie a dále je také provedena analýza v kontextu metodologického rámce naratologie. Na začátku je stručně popsán život a dílo této spisovatelky. Dále se práce věnuje nejčastějším tématům její tvorby, s důrazem na genderovou problematiku. Další část práce je věnována definici novinového sloupku jako literárního žánru a krátce je popsána také nizozemská a anglická tradice psaní sloupků. Následně se práce věnuje analýze těchto sloupků z pohledu naratologie. Na základě teorie vyprávění jsou zde popsány a vysvětleny narativní vzorce ve sloupcích Weijersové. Je zde popsána struktura těchto sloupků a jsou zde rozebrány specifické prvky vyprávění, které činí autorčin styl jedinečným a osobitým. V závěru práce jsou nastíněna a interpretována zjištěná fakta.This master thesis focuses on the columns of the Dutch writer Nina Weijers in the weekly De Groene Amsterdammer in the years 2015-2019. The aim of this thesis is the analysis of these columns in the context of the methodological framework of genre typology, in order to determine the specifities of the columns, followed by narratological inquiry to determine the special traits of the way, in which Nina Weijers tells and constructs the stories told in the columns. The thesis is divided into five chapters. After a brief description of the life and work of Nina Weijers and an outline of the chosen approach in the introduction, the first chapter offers an overview of the thematics of the columns, in which in particular gender issues play a pivotal role. The second chapter situates her work in the historical traditions of the column in the Netherlands and the United States as the main templates of Weijers' work as a columnist. In the third chapter, the newspaper column is characterized and the features of this literary genre are defined. An important part of this chapter is the genre typology of the columns of the analysed corpus. Subsequently, the motifs and themes of these columns are described. The fourth and fifth chapter are devoted to the analysis of the given columns based on the methodological framework of the narrative theory. In the fourth chapter, specifically the structure of these columns is analysed, that is to say the elements of the narrative, namely the characters, time and space of the story are discussed. The fifth chapter focuses in more detail on the narrative patterns used by Nina Weijers in her columns, the particular features of their narration and the characteristics of her writing style, highlighting the specific features that make her style unique and distinctive. The results of the research are summarized in the conclusion, where the findings are outlined and interpreted.
