Diplomová práce je zaměřena na oblast sportovního cestovního ruchu v destinaci Beskydy - Valašsko. Hlavním cílem je analýza potenciálu destinace pro rozvoj sportovního cestovního ruchu prostřednictvím situační analýzy zpracované po vzoru metodiky Ústavu územního rozvoje, uplatněné při Hodnocení potenciálu cestovního ruchu a prezentace výsledku kvantitativního šetření. Na základě výzkumu bylo zjištěno, že destinace Beskydy Valašsko, disponuje velmi vysokým potenciálem pro rozvoj sportovního cestovního ruchu.The thesis is focused on the field of sports tourism in the destination Beskydy-Valašsko. The main objective is to analyse the potential of the destination for the development of sports tourism through a situational analysis based on the methodology of the Institute of Territorial Development, applied in the Assessment of the Potential of Tourism and the presentation of the result of a quantitative survey. Based on research, it was found that the destination Beskydy-Valašsko has a very high potential of territory for the development of sports tourism.
