Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu překladu dětské literatury, zejména na způsob převodu hádanek, básniček, říkanek a dalších interaktivních prvků v knižní sérii pro děti a mládež "Deltora - Země nestvůr a kouzel" od Emily Roddaové, kterou do češtiny přeložila Olga Machútová. Tyto prvky mladšímu čtenáři dávají možnost aktivně se zapojit do příběhu a snažit se uhodnout správné řešení spolu s knižními hrdiny. Důraz je kladen na jazykové, obrazové i jazykovo-obrazové prostředky, ve kterých bylo potřeba ve větší míře upravovat či zcela měnit výchozí materiál, aby překlad odpovídal potřebám cílového jazyka. Účelem analýzy je posoudit funkčnost překladových řešení s ohledem na míru zachování jazykových prostředků užitých ve výchozím textu. Teoretická část se zabývá dětskou literaturou a prvky, které se v ní často objevují a pojí se s analyzovanou sérií, jmenovitě fantasy, poezií a hádankami, dále řeší problematiku a specifika překladu dětské literatury a roli překladatele.This bachelor thesis concerns the translation of children's literature. It is particularly focused on the methods of translating riddles, poems, nursery rhymes, and other such interactive elements appearing in the children's fantasy book series "Deltora Quest" by Emily Rodda, translated into Czech by Olga Machútová. These elements allow readers to actively take part in the story and attempt to guess the correct solutions along with the literary heroes. The analysis also covers verbal, visual, and verbo-visual material which had to be significantly altered or replaced entirely in translation to accommodate the needs of the target language. The aim is to assess the functionality of the translated interactive elements with regard to the extent the linguistic devices used in the source text were retained in the target text. The theoretical part deals with children's literature and a number of frequently occurring elements related to the analysed series, namely fantasy, poems, and riddles. The second main subject matter is the translation of children's literature, its characteristics, and the translator's role.
