Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá makulárnou degeneráciou a modrým svetlom. Začiatok práce popisuje stavbu a funkciu sietnice. Následne analizuje modré svetlo a jeho dopad na náš organizmus. Hlavná časť práce sa venuje makulárnej degenerácii, jej formám, prejavom, oblasti diagnostiky a liečby. Ďalej rozoberá mnohé faktory, ktoré sa podieľajú na jej vzniku, ku ktorým sa radí aj modré svetlo. Zakončenie je venované ochranným prvkom, ktoré zabezpečujú filtráciu modrej zložky svetla.The bachelor thesis deals with macular degeneration and blue light. The beginning of the work describes the structure and function of the retina. Then it analyzes the blue light and its impact on our body. The main part of the work deals with macular degeneration, its forms, manifestations, areas of diagnosis and treatment. It further discusses many factors, that contributes to its origin, which include blue light. The conclusion is dedicated to the protective elements, which ensures the filtration of the blue component of light.
