V české společnosti je někdy těžké rozeznat, co jedinci, kteří nejsou zapojení do sociálních hnutí, očekávají od budoucnosti společnosti. Proto jsem v této práci vyvinula a vyzkoušela nástroj studia politické imaginace, abych pochopila, jaká politická imaginace je navozena tímto nástrojem a co vypovídá o české společnosti. Politickou imaginaci, fiktivní myšlení o alternativách současné společnosti, jsem studovala skrze workshopy politické imaginace. Ty jsem navrhla jako ohniskové skupiny založené na mimetické konstruktivní hře, kdy participující "stavěli" ideální budoucnost společnosti z každodenních předmětů. Třemi kroky interpretace jsem došla k chápání politické imaginace jako způsobu kolektivního myšlení, které se odehrává v dialogu a které participujícím ukazuje, že konverzace o politických tématech je možná a může být přínosná. Workshopy s jedinci neangažovanými v české společnosti ukázaly, že kritika společnosti se soustředí především na jedince a i společenská změna je chápána na individuální úrovni.It is sometimes difficult to identify what individuals in the Czech society who are not engaged in social movements expect from its future. Therefore, I developed and tested a method for studying political imagination to comprehend what kind of political imagination it evokes and what such imagination implies about the Czech society. I studied political imagination, fictive thinking about alternatives of current society, through workshops of political imagination. I have developed them as focus groups based on mimetic constructive game in which the participants built an ideal future of the society with the help of everyday objects. Though a three-step interpretation, I arrived at the understanding of political imagination as a mode of collective thinking that happens in dialogue. This thinking ensured the participants that it is possible to carry out conversations about political topics and that such conversations can be beneficial. These workshops, which I conduced with people who were not an active part of the society, revealed that the critique of the society is mostly focused on the individual and so is societal change.
