Hlavním tématem této práce je poznání španělské historie a kultury očima ruského šlechtice, který během několika měsíců roku 1845 procestoval Španělsko. Teoretická část této práce pojednává o tom, co je vůbec literatura z cest a její charakteristické rysy. Praktická část je celá soustředěna na deník z cesty ruského literáta Vasiliho Petróviče Botkina a jeho cestu po Španělsku. Pro tuto analýzu byl použit jak originál v ruštině, tak přeložená verze ve španělštině.The aim of this work is the cognition of the spanish history and culture through the eyes of a russian aristocrat who in the course od couple of months traveled all around the Spain in 1845. A theoretical part discuss the what is a travel literature about and which characteristics has. A practical part is focused on Vasili Petróvich Botkin's travel diary and his way around Spain. For the analisis was used as the orignal writings in Russian, as the traduced version in Spanish.
