Tato práce má za účel poukázat na problematiku spojenou s překladem kulturních rozdílů mezi dvěma jazyky, tedy německým a českým, za pomoci lingvisticky zanalyzovaných praktických příkladů z konkrétního filmu "Tajemství hradu v Karpatech". Součástí práce je také skromný úvod do elementární terminologie, která čtenáře seznamuje s překážkami spojenými s překladem, jeho předmětem zájmu, jeho paralely ke kontrastivní lingvistice a se synchronizací, jakožto jeho ekvivalentem z filmového průmyslu. Kulturní překlad a jim způsobené rozdíly mezi originálem a překladem tvoří také předmět zájmu.The purpose of this work is to show the difficulties of cultural translation differences between two languages, those being German and Czech. This is realised by the linguistic analysis of practical examples from the specific movie "The Mysterious Castle in the Carpathians". Part of this thesis is a modest introduction into the elementary terminology, which informs the reader of barriers connected with translation, its subject of interest, its parallel to contrast linguistics and with the synchronization as an equivalent from the movie business. Cultural translation and differences caused between the original and the translation are the main point of this thesis.
