Podstatou mé bakalářské práce je zjistit jakou roli měla odlišná etnicita mezi ostatními příčinami první Rusko-Čečenské války. Teoretickým základem mi byla teorie etnického konfliktu. Na základě této teorie jsem byl schopen vymezit čtyři druhy faktorů etnického konfliktu. Hlavním cílem mé práce bylo na základě těchto čtyř faktorů zjistit, zda etnicita byla primárním důvodem tohoto konfliktu, nebo byla instrumentem, který vytvořil soupeře.The essence of my bachelor thesis is to find out what role the different ethnicity had among the other reasons for the First Russian-Chechen war. A theoretical basis for me was the theory of ethnic conflict. Based on the theory I was able to define four types of factors of ethnic conflict. The main goal of my thesis was to determine, based on these four factors, whether ethnicity was the primary reason for this conflict, or if it was an instrument that created rivals.
