Tato diplomová práce vnáší do české právní vědy téma intervence na pozvání jakožto vysoce aktuální výjimky ze zákazu užití síly. Za využití převážně anglicky psané literatury shrnuje podstatný obsah intervence na pozvání, přináší její popis a předkládá náhled současného mezinárodního práva na tento institut. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována způsobilosti vlády pozvání učinit a samotnému významu "pozvání". Z hlediska intervence na pozvání práce hodnotí invazi států ECOWAS do Gambijské republiky v roce 2017The diploma thesis brings the topic of intervention by invitation into the range of Czech jurisprudence. The intervention by invitation is a frequently used exception to the prohibiton of the use of force. The intervention by invitation is described using contemporary English-written sources. The thesis includes an analysis of all substantial components of the intervention by invitation based on the perspective of contempotary international law. The thesis also puts significant attention to the capacity of a government to invite foreign armed forces and to the nature of "invitation" as a conduct. The theoretical basis is applied to the 2017 ECOWAS invasion to the Republic of Gambia.
