Kognitivní věda je relativně nová vědecká aktivita studující lidskou mysl. Hlavním východiskem práce kognitivních vědců je transdisciplinarita oborů. Předmět zkoumání je nahrazen tématem, na nějž je nahlíženo prizmatem různých disciplín. Tato magisterská diplomová práce se blíže zabývá herectvím, a to z pohledu kognitivní teatrologie a kognitivní lingvistiky. Výchozí hypotézou práce je otázka, jak může být herectví vnímáno jako dorozumívací prostředek komunikace. Formou experimentu je v práci provedena analýza subjektivního vnímání dvou herců na hereckou profesi i hereckou dovednost obecně. Za příkladový model zde slouží inscenace Velký Gatsby z dílny olomouckého Divadla Tramtarie, na níž se oba herci umělecky podíleli. Bylo zjišťováno, jak herci užívají vrozenou schopnost komunikace jako nástroj k realizaci herectví a jak ji využívají směrem k hereckým kolegům, divákům, režisérovi, k postavě i k sobě samotným. Konkrétní data, která se potvrdila jako uskutečnitelná, jsou poté dosazována do základních pojmů kognitivistického uvažovaní o divadle a o jazyce.Cognitive science is a rather new scientific pursue studying the human mind. The main fundation of the work od cognitive scientists is transdiscilinarity of scientific fields. In other words the subject under research is being observed from a variety of different fields. This master diploma thesis is particularly concerned with acting and that is from the view of both cognitive theatrology and cognitive linguistics. The main hypotesis is a question, whether acting can be perceived as a means of communication. The analysisof subjective perception of two actors to the acting as a profession and as a sklil is used in this thesis in the formo f an experiment. The play The Great Gatsby from the Theatre Tramtarie from Olomouc, in which both actors actively took part, is set as an exemplary example. The thesis is then concerned with how the actors use their innate ability of communiacation as a tool to the actualization of acting and how they use it towards their colleagues in profession, towards the audience, the director and themselves. Factual data, that turned out to be feasible, are then put into the basic concepts of cognitive understanding of theatre and language.
