Tato práce se zabývá vzdělávacím systémem totální komunikace v mateřských školách pro sluchově postižené. Dělí se na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části najdeme stručnou charakteristiku sluchového postižení, specifika vývoje, komunikační prostředky a systém vzdělávání osob se sluchovým postižením. Praktická část rozebírá výzkumné šetření, jehož cílem je charakterizovat použití systému totální komunikace ve třech mateřských školách za pomocí metody pozorování a rozhovoru.This thesis focuses on ways of educating children with hearing impairment in kindergarten using the total communication technique. It is divided into two sections; theoretical and practical. The theoretical section consists of a brief definition of what hearing impairment is, information about child development, and ways of communication and education of pupils with hearing disability. The practical section contains a detailed analysis, which aims to examine the use of total communication technique in three different kindergartens, using the methods of observation and interview.
