Diplomová práce je zaměřená na teoreticko-empirickou konceptualizaci ženství a ženského těla v závislosti na menstruačním cyklu z pohledu dívek po menarche a žen po menopauze. V práci se zabývám medicínskou a symbolickou rovinou menstruačního cyklu a menopauzy. Konkrétně se práce zabývá tělesnými změnami menarche i menopauzy; zda je menarche vnímáno jako nečisté a menopauza jako čistá. Práce se tématy menarche a menopauzy zabývá také z pohledu přechodového rituálu a zda jej tak vnímají i participantky, které se výzkumu zúčastnily. V neposlední řadě se práce zabývá tím, zda je menarche a menopauza sdílená nebo utajovaná.The diploma thesis is focused on the theoretical-empirical conceptualization of femininity and the female body depending on menstrual cycle from the perspective of girls after menarche and postmenopausal women. In my work I deal with the medical and symbolic level of menstrual cycle and menopause. Specifically, the work deals with bodily changes in menarche and menopause; whether menarche is perceived as impure and menopause as pure. The work also deals with the topics of menarche and menopause from the point of view of the rites of passage and whether it is perceived as such by the participants who participated in the research. Finally, the work deals with whether menarche and menopause are shared or secret.
