Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na prolomení stereotypů a tabu témat ve vyobrazení rodiny v dětské literatuře, a to především v dílech Roalda Dahla a Davida Walliamse. Oba autoři ve svých dílech zobrazují nevšední témata týkající se útrap dětí a nefunkčních rodin, a jejich vztahy.This thesis focuses on breaking stereotypes in the depiction of family and relationships in the children's literature of Roald Dahl and David Walliams. Both these writers broke taboo areas in their stories by using unusual themes of children's suffering and the hardship of family and relationships.
