Myslivost je fenomén se značnou historií. Nejedná se přitom o rigidní oblast praktik a vědění, ale doznává změn mj. v závislosti na technických možnostech či etických standardech společnosti. Práce chce zjistit, jak je reprezentovaná současná myslivost ve vybrané myslivecké literatuře. Na obecné rovině práce naznačí možnosti zkoumání myslivosti jako kulturálního tématu. Výchozími koncepty, které pomohou strukturovat práci, bude teorie subkultur (D. Hebdige, S. Thornton) doplněná o herní pojetí kultury (J. Huizinga) a genderovou problematiku. Práce bude myslivost zkoumat konstruktivistickým paradigmatem. Použita bude kvalitativní analýza dat.Gamekeeping is a phenomenon that has a great history. It is not a rigid field of knowledge and practices, but it has gone through many changes, besides other changes depending on technical possibilities and ethical standards of the society. My work has tried to find out how the contemporary gamekeeping is presented in chosen gamekeeping literature. Generally my work indicates a possibility of examining gamekeeping as a cultural topic. Basic concepts that help to structure my work are following: the theory of subculture (D. Hebdige, S. Thornton) complemented by the play element of culture (J. Huizinga) and gender theories. My work examines gamekeeping in constructivist paradigm and it uses a qualitative data analysis.
