Práce se zaměřuje na problematiku odchodu do důchodu skrze optiku andragogiky. Cílem této magisterské práce je porozumět tomu, jak se lidé žijící na vesnici vyrovnávají s odchodem do důchodu. Záměrem je popsat tento náročný životní předěl, zkoumat postoje participantů výzkumu vůči odchodu do důchodu a zjistit změny k němu se pojící. Hlavním přínosem teoretické části je podrobný popis procesu odchodu do důchodu a vytvoření profilu čerstvého důchodce. Bylo zjištěno, že oproti odborné literatuře, která popisuje odchod do důchodu jako velmi náročné období života jedince, ve spíše negativní konotaci, participanti výzkumu jej vnímali jako vytoužený cíl a adaptace na novou životní etapu jim nedělala větší obtíže. Jako výzkumný design byl zvolen kvalitativní přístup, kdy sběr dat byl realizován metodou hloubkového polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Získaná data byla analyzovaná metodou otevřeného kódování a následně interpretována technikou vyložených karet. Hlavní výzkumná otázka zní: Jaké strategie používají lidé žijící na vesnici, při vyrovnávání se s odchodem do důchodu? Z výsledků výzkumu vyplynula jako souhrnná strategie vyrovnávání se s odchodem do důchodu nabývání nových zájmů. Nově nabytý volný čas je pojímán jako příležitost a nové zájmy jako smysluplné využití tohoto prostoru. Výzkum byl realizován v rámci specifické vesnice, kdy bylo zjištěno, že životní podmínky a možnosti dané vesnice mají přímý vliv na volbu nových zájmů participantů.The diploma thesis focuses on the issue of retirement within the field of andragogy. The aim of this thesis is to understand how people living in a village are coping with retirement. The intent is to describe this demanding divide of life, to study the attitudes of research participants towards retirement and to identify changes related to it. The main contribution of the theoretical part is a detailed description of the retirement process and the creation of a fresh pensioner profile. It was found that in contrast to the scientific literature describing retirement as a very difficult period of life of an individual, the research participants perceived retirement as an attractive goal and their adaptation to a new stage of their life did not cause them more difficulties. As a research design was chosen a qualitative approach. Data was collected by using the method of in-depth semi-structured interview. Data was analysed by the method of open coding and then interpreted by the technique of inlaid cards. The main research question is: What strategies are used by people living in a village to cope with retirement? Research results shows acquiring new interests as a strategy for coping with retirement. Newly acquired leisure time is viewed as an opportunity and new interests as a meaningful use of this time. The research was realized within a specific village, where it was found that the living conditions and possibilities of the village had a direct impact on the choice of new interests of research participants.
