Tato práce pojednává o komunitním tlumočení a dostupnosti tlumočení pro cizince v České republice. Mapuje konkrétní situaci ve třech oslovených organizacích - Centrum na podporu integrace cizinců, Člověk v tísni a InBáze. Tyto informace zasazuje do teoretického rámce, kde se zabývá školením tlumočníků, etikou, rolí tlumočníka a právním rámcem jeho práce. Zjištění jsou doplněna o aktuální informace o počtu a původu cizinců na území České republiky, dostupnosti tlumočníků pro tyto jazyky a o možnostech vzdělání v daném oboru.This thesis deals with the topic of community interpreting and the accessibility of interpreting for foreigners in the Czech Republic. It maps current situation in three organisations - Center for Support of Integration of Foreigners, People in Need and InBáze. It sets up a theoretical framework concentrated on interpreter training, ethics, the role of an interpreter and legal background to this profession, adding up to date information on the number and origins of foreigners in the Czech Republic, accessibility of interpreters for these languages and possibilities of training and education in the field of community interpreting.
