Funkční elektrostimulace je aplikace elektrických impulzů do těla k obnově ztracené či poškozené funkce. Funkční elektrostimulace dolní končetiny tedy slouží převážně k rehabilitaci chůze. Prostřednictvím stimulace daného nervu je možné pomocí funkční elektrostimulace stimulovat všechny inervované svaly, avšak v praxi se nejvíce používá pro terapii syndromu padající špičky způsobeného spastickou parézou. Cílem bakalářské práce byla sumarizace studií zabývajících se efektivitou funkční elektrostimulace dolní končetiny u pacientů se syndromem padající špičky způsobeného poruchou centrální nervové soustavy. Dalším cílem bylo porovnání efektivity funkční elektrostimulace s dalšími možnostmi terapie tohoto syndromu. Studie uvedené v bakalářské práci byly vyhledány v databázích PubMed, Medvik a Google Scholar. Z výsledků studií vyplynulo, že terapie chůze pomocí funkční elektrostimulace dolní končetiny má pozitivní vliv na její parametry. Statisticky významná je i kombinace s dalšími možnostmi terapie syndromu padající špičky.Functional electrostimulation is the application of electrical impulses to the body to restore lost or damaged function. Functional electrostimulation for the lower limb serves mainly for gait rehabilitation. Through stimulation of the nerve, it is possible to stimulate all innervated muscles by using functional electrostimulation. However, in practice it is most used for the treatment of drop foot syndrome caused by spastic paresis. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to summarize studies dealing with the effectiveness of functional electrostimulation for the lower limb in patients with drop foot syndrome caused by central nervous system disorder. Another goal was to compare the effectiveness of functional electrostimulation with other therapies for this syndrome. The studies presented in the bachelor thesis were found in PubMed, Medvik and Google Scholar databases. The results of the studies showed that gait therapy using functional electrostimulation for the lower limb has a positive effect on its parameters. The combination with other possibilities of drop foot syndrome therapy is also statistically significant.
