Práce zkoumá biblická jména v díle Julia Zeyera. Biblické motivy jsou v jeho textech poměrně časté, a proto na vybraných jménech ze tří jeho děl, Bájích Šošany, Sulamit a Zahradě mariánské tato práce zkoumá, jakým způsobem Zeyer využívá biblických jmen a jak s nimi nakládá. V porovnání s biblí se u Zeyera objevují určitá specifika, vliv mluveného jazyka, hebrejštiny a dalších jazyků, ze kterých čerpal materiál a inspiraci pro svou tvorbu. Cílem této práce je porovnat znění jmen v Zeyerově textu se dvěma překlady bible, které mohl mít Zeyer k dispozici, Bible české z roku 1857 a Bible kralické z roku 1863 a následně popsat grafické, hláskové a morfologické adaptace biblických jmen v Zeyerově textu, pokud se od biblického znění odlišují a popsat také jejich onymické funkce a práci s jejich významy, pokud jich Zeyer využívá.The theses deals with the topic of bible names in the texts of Julius Zeyer. The biblical topic in his work appears quite often, so we chose the bible names to describe, how he uses them in his work. We compared the names he uses with two Czech translations of the Bible, the Bible ceska (1857) and Bible kralicka (1863). In comparison to these two translations, one from latin, one from the original languages we looked at the bible names in Zeyer's works and described the changes that he made. The main aim was to decribe graphic, morphologic and other changes and try to explain the differences. In addition to this the theses looks also onthe onymic functions of the names in Zeyer's works.
