Cílem bakalářské práce je prostřednictvím kvalitativního výzkumu zjistit jaká je dostupnost sociálních služeb pro osoby s tělesným postižením, vyžadující celodenní asistenci druhé osoby, v oblasti bydlení. Pomocí metody polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s otevřenými otázkami se autorka zabývá hlavní výzkumnou otázkou ,,Jaká je dostupnost sociálních služeb pro osoby s tělesným postižením, vyžadují celodenní asistenci druhé osoby, v oblasti bydlení?". V dílčích oblastech výzkumu se autorka zabývá dostupností sociálních služeb, financování tohoto procesu a možnými překážkami. Lidé se zdravotním, specificky s tělesným, postižením jsou jednou z cílových skupin sociální práce. Během dlouhodobého setkávání s těmito osobami se autorka opakovaně setkávala s tématem nedostatku sociálních služeb a finančních prostředků, které by osobám s tělesným postižením mohly pomoci k důstojnému nezávislému životu. Nedostatek vnímají osoby s tělesným postižením v nabídce vhodných, neústavních pobytových sociálních služeb či jiných alternativách bydlení, které by výše specifikované osoby mohly využít. Zmapování procesu osamostatňování v oblasti bydlení osob s tělesným handicapem, které vyžadují celodenní péči druhé osoby, může být nástrojem k nastavení efektivního systému pomoci státu a celé společnosti. Znalost problematiky nás může pobídnout k zamyšlení se nad změnou dosavadního systému podpory těchto osob a k jeho následným změnám. Při mapování různých závěrečných vysokoškolských prací jsem došla k závěru, že existuje málo prací, které by se zabývaly osobami s tělesným handicapem vyžadujícími celodenní péči druhé osoby, které nemají přidružený mentální handicap.The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out by means of qualitative research what is the availability of social services for people with physical disabilities, requiring all-day assistance of another person in the area of housing. Using the method of semi-structured interview with open questions, the author deals with the main research question, "What is the availability of social services for people with physical disabilities, requires a full-time assistance of another person in the area of housing?" of this process and possible obstacles. People with disabilities are one of the target groups of social work. During a long-term meeting with these people, the author has repeatedly encountered the issue of a lack of social services and financial resources that could help people with disabilities to a dignified independent life. People with disabilities perceive shortages in offering suitable, unconstitutional residential social services or other housing alternatives that the persons specified above could use. Mapping out the process of becoming independent in the housing of people with physical disabilities that require day-to-day care of another person can be a tool to set up an effective system of state and community support. Knowledge of the issue can prompt us to reflect on the change in the current system of support for these people and its subsequent changes. In mapping the various final college theses, I came to the conclusion that there are few jobs to deal with people with physical disabilities requiring full-time care of another person who does not have an associated mental handicap
