Daná diplomová práce se zabývá srovnáním třech překladů románu F. M. Dostojevského Běsi. Konfrontace zvolených pro analýzu textů ukázala na věcné a jazykové rozdíly v přeložených textech. Podrobněji byl porovnán výskyt lexikálních, morfologických a syntaktických rusismů v překladech, byl zjištěn vývoj jejich slohové platnosti. Analýza překladů ruských frazeologismů přispěla k hodnocení adekvátnosti překladů z významového hlediska. Průběžně překlady byly srovnávány s originálním textem, byl stanoven vliv ruské předlohy, soudobé kodifikace a překladatelské metody na podobu překladů.The title of this master's thesis is The Comparison of three Czech Translations of the Novel Demons by Dostoevsky. Among compared czech translations were translation by Stanislav Minařík published in 1925, translation by Bohumil Mathesius from the year 1966 and by Taťjana Hašková and Jaroslav Hulák, edition from the year 2000. The assingment of this thesis is an analysis of the linguistic and factual differences between three chosen translations. Czech translations were compared on lexical, morphological and syntactical levels. Additionally, the usage of russian lexical, morphological and syntactic borrowings in czech texts was compared. Every czech translation was compared with an original russian text. The comparison contributed to the realization/determination of the differences between czech translations and revealed/suggested an appropriate way of translation. The influences of grammar codifications and translation techniques on translated texts were described in this thesis. Main part of the thesis is built on the comparison of syntactical, morphological and lexical russian influences in each translation. The results of this analysis showed that the major part of russian borrowings have changed their stylistic validity and become archaistic. Also, translations of russian phrasal idioms were compared to demonstrate the semantic differences between three translations. Comparison of czech translations with an original text helped to determine the semantic and linguistic quality of these translations. The conclusion of this thesis suggested that the modern translation by T. Hašková a J. Hulák is the most convenient one. Edition by B. Mathesius is acceptable too. Translation by S. Minařík can be described as inappropriate because of translation mistakes.
