Práce se zabývá zimními stadiony v České republice, předkládá teoretický vstup týkající se sportu, ledního hokeje a zimních stadionů. Nabízí stručnou historii a také vývoj výstavby stadionů. Zkoumá jejich prostorové rozložení na bázi celého území, vybraných krajů a vybraných měst. Dále je zkoumána sídelní struktura obcí a její závislost na přítomnosti zimních stadionů.The thesis is centered around winter stadiums in Czech Republic, it depicts theoretical background related to the sport, ice hockey and winter stadiums. It offers a brief look into the history and construction of the stadiums. Also the thesis examines their spatial distribution on the basis of the czech territory and selected regions and cities. Furthermore the space is also given to the analysis of relation between settlement structure in the cities and presence of the stadium.
