Bakalářská práce se zabývá zkoumáním sociální opory a spirituálního distresu u osob s duševním onemocněním a současně se zaměřuje na zakotvení tohoto tématu v sociální práci s těmito lidmi. První část práce se věnuje teoretickému vymezení daného tématu. Druhá část práce objasňuje výsledky kvantitativního výzkumu, jehož se zúčastnilo 19 klientů sociální služby Sociální rehabilitace Cesta (SRC). Pomocí dotazníkového šetření jsem hledala odpověď na výzkumnou otázku, "ukáže se statisticky významná souvislost mezi sociální oporou a mírou rizika spirituálního distresu u zkoumané populace klientů?". Na základě analýzy výsledků se stanovená hypotéza nepotvrdila. Výsledky provedeného kvantitativního výzkumu ukázaly, že míra sociální opory a duchovního zdraví oslovených klientů dosahuje průměrných hodnot. Bylo by tak vhodné s tímto závěrem dále pracovat a pomoci klientům SRC v saturaci těchto potřeb prostřednictvím vhodných intervencí, jež jim mohou být nabídnuty v rámci sociální práce.The bachelor thesis deals with a research of a social support and spiritual distress of people with a mental illness and it focuses on anchoring this topic in social work with these people at the same time. The first part of the thesis is devoted to a theoretical definition of the topic. The second part of the thesis explains results of quantitative research, in which 19 clients of the social service Social Rehabilitation Cesta (SRC) participated. Using a questionnaire survey, I was looking for an answer to the research question, "will there be a statistically signifiant link between the social support and the risk of spiritual distress in the researched client population?" The hypothesis was not confirmed on the basis of analyzed results of the research. The quantitative research conclusion revealed that the level of a social support and spiritual health of the respondents reached average values. It would be advisable to continue working with this conclusion and to assist SRC clients in meeting these needs through various interventions that can be offered as part of social work.
