L'obiettivo principale della tesi é stata la traduzione e la seguente analisi della traduzione dei tre capitoli scelti dal romanzo Una barca nel bosco della scrittrice italiana contemporanea Paola Mastrocola. Il primo capitolo della tesi si occupa della teoria della traduzione e della descrizione del processo traduttivo. Nel secondo capitolo si trova la presentazione della scrittrice e delle sue opere. La terza parte consiste nella traduzione del testo italiano alla lingua slovacca che in seguito viene analizzata nel quarto capitolo.The main focus of this thesis was the translation and the following analysis of the translation of the three chapters from the novel Una barca nel bosco written by the contemporary Italian author Paola Mastrocola. The first chapter of the thesis is dedicated to the theory of translation and describes the techniques and work stages of a translator. The presentation of the author and her work can be found in the second chapter. The third chapter consists of the translation of the Italian text into the Slovak language and the whole process is analyzed in the fourth chapter.
