Tato diplomová práce se věnuje překladu turistického průvodce po ruském městě Soči z ruštiny do češtiny. Jejím cílem bylo vytvořit adekvátní překlad průvodce. Práce se skládá z praktické a teoretické částí. Praktická část se zabývá překladem průvodce a komentářem k překladu. Teoretická část se zabývá teorii překladu a stylistiky. Součástí přílohy této diplomové práce je originální text průvodce.This thesis dedicates the translation of the tourist guide to the Russian city of Sochi from Russian to Czech language. Its aim was to create an adequate translation guide. The thesis consists of practical and theoretical parts. The practical part deals with the translation of the guide and commentary on the translation. The theoretical part deals with the theory of translation and stylistics. A part of the appendix of this thesis is the original text of the guide.
