Práce mapuje sbírku citer hudebního fondu Vlastivědného muzea v Olomouci a přináší organologickou studii, jejímž výstupem je návrh nového strukturovaného katalogu citer zpracovaného podle aktuálních organologických požadavků. Přináší také vhled do problematiky bipolarity anglosaské a německé, potažmo české, organologické terminologie a snaží se s tímto (zatím neřešitelným) problémem vypořádat. Upozorňuje též na problematiku zpracovávání hudebních sbírkových fondů a přibližuje muzeologickou praxi. Práce také zahrnuje všeobecné informace o konstrukci citer a kobz, jejich ladění a způsobu hry a pokouší se je zasadit do systematiky hudebních nástrojů. Hlavním přínosem práce je aktualizovaný katalog dle nové koncepce, odpovídající soudobým metodologickým organologickým zásadám a jejich uplatnění ve světové muzeologické praxi.This thesis surveys the zither collection of the Vlastivědné muzeum v Olomouci musical depository. It presents an organological study aiming to propose a new structure of the zither catalogue, reflecting the current organological demands. This thesis also shines light on the disparity of English vs. German and Czech organological nomenclature and seeks to tackle this (by all means unsolvable) problem. It also raises awareness of the broader issue of treating musical collections and outlines some of the practices currently used in museology. One chapter is dedicated to a general description of zither and kobza construction, tuning and playing technique, seeking to place them within a system of instrument classification. The main output of this thesis is an updated catalogue, compiled according to contemporary organological methods and policies currently applied in worldwide museological practice.
