Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou přistupování Turecka do EU z pohledu unijních aktérů. Cílem práce je analyzovat, zdali je možné považovat orgány EU (EK, EP a ER) za aktéry, kteří jsou proti vstupu Turecka do EU a prostřednictvím toho zhodnotit, zdali je turecké členství v EU vůbec možné. První kapitola práce se zabývá teoretickými východisky, jako je racionalismus, liberální intergovernmentalismus, konstruktivismus a dimenze studia rozšiřování, kdy cílem je vysvětlit, proč se členské státy MO či orgány MO snaží rozšiřovat o další členy či jsou výhradně proti. Druhá kapitola práce obsahuje přehled hlavních událostí ve vzájemných vztazích EU a Turecka ve snaze ukázat, že Turecko je významným partnerem EU se vzájemnou dlouholetou minulostí. Třetí kapitola práce se zabývá jednotlivými orgány EU a analyzuje, jaký je jejich skutečný postoj v otázce možného členství Turecka v EU.The diploma thesis deals with the issue of Turkish accession to the EU from the perspective of EU actors. The aim of the thesis is to analyze whether EU institutions (EC, EP and European Council) can be considered as actors that are against Turkey's accession to the EU and to assess whether Turkey's membership of the EU is at all possible. The first chapter of the thesis deals with theoretical backgrounds such as rationalism, liberal intergovernmentalism, constructivism and dimensions of enlargement, the purpose of which is to explain why member states of IO or institutions of IO are trying to expand to other members or are totally opposed. The second chapter of the paper provides an overview of major developments in EU-Turkey mutual relations in an effort to show that Turkey is an important partner of the EU with a long mutual history. The third chapter of the thesis deals with individual EU institutions and analyzes their real position on Turkey's possible membership in the EU.
