Bakalářská práce se zabývá reflexí Evropské komise pod vedením Jean-Claude Junckera. Cílem je analýza její činnost ve třech dimenzích. První zkoumanou dimenzí jsou změny ve vnitřní struktuře Komise a vztahů s vybranými evropskými institucemi. Druhá dimenze se soustředí na politickou činnost Komise. V poslední dimenzi jsou zkoumány vztahy Junckerovy komise s členskými státy. Záměrem práce je odpovědět na tři výzkumné otázky. Jaké změny Komise provedla ve své vnitřní struktuře a jaké měla vztahy s vybranými evropskými institucemi? Jak byla úspěšná v prosazování svých politických priorit? Jaké měla Komise vztahy s členskými státy? Sekundárním cílem práce je z činnosti v těchto třech dimenzích vyvodit závěry, které mohou ovlivnit postavení Evropské komise v budoucnosti. V práci byla využita metoda path dependence k identifikování momentů, které mohou mít dopad na budoucí Komise. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola dokumentuje vývoj postavení Evropské komise s poukazem na důležité mezníky, které ji významně ovlivnily. Druhá kapitola se soustředí na intrainstitucionální a interinstitucionální změny, které Junckerova komise provedla. Třetí kapitola se zabývá politickou činností Komise a její schopností prosadit své priority. Poslední kapitola má za cíl analyzovat vztahy Junckerovy komise s členskými státy. Junckerova komise ve třech zkoumaných dimenzích své činnosti jednala více politicky. Toto jednání napomohlo k vytvoření nové vnitřní struktury, která centralizovala rozhodování Komise. Tato politizace ale způsobila střet s členskými státy a evropskými institucemi. Činnost Junckerovy komise tak může v budoucnosti mít důsledky pro jednání dalších Evropských komisí.This bachelor thesis is engaged in the reflection of the European Commission under the rule of Jean-Claude Juncker. Its goal is to analyse the work of the Commission in three dimensions. The first dimension explores changes in the inner structure of the Commission and its relationships with the concrete European institutions. The second dimension explores the political activity of the Juncker Commission. In the last dimension are explored the relationships between the European Commission and the member states of the European Union. The aim of this thesis is to detect, which changes were made in the innner structure of the Commission and what relations the Commission had with the concrete european institutions and how much the European Commission succeeded in pushing the political priorities through and what were the relationships of the European Commission and its memeber states like. Secondary goal of this thesis is to deduce the futhure position of the European Commissions in the researched dimensions. The method of the path dependence was applied in this thesis to identify the moments which could create the precedent for the future European Commissions. This thesis is divided into four chapters. First chapter documents the development of the possition of the European Commission and points out to important moments with the significant affect on it. Second chapter focuses on inner and outer changes, the Juncker Commission has done. Third chapter focuses on political work of the Juncker Commission and its success in pushing its political priorities through. The aim of the fourth chapter is to describes the relationships between the European Commission and the member states of the Union. The Juncker Commission seems to act more as a political institution in all three researched dimensions. By this approach the creation of new inner structure of the European Commission was enabled. Its decision-making becomes more centralized. Unfortunatelly this more political approach causes conflicts with the member states and the European institutions. Thus the Junker commission's behaviour may have very significant implications for the other European commissions in the future.
