Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou "hromadných" cyklistických a běžeckých závodů ve zvláště chráněných územích. Cílem práce je podat ucelený přehled podmínek, které musí organizátor splnit pro uspořádání závodu. Dále také zodpovězení výzkumné otázky: Co se považuje za "hromadnou sportovní akci"? Práce se člení na čtyři kapitoly. V první kapitole se autor věnuje jednotlivým aspektům sportu a jeho vztahu k životnímu prostředí. Druhá kapitola se zabývá vymezením obecné a zvláštní ochrany přírody se zaměřením na velkoplošná zvláště chráněná území. Třetí kapitola objasňuje pojem "hromadné" sportovní akce, obsahuje přehled podmínek pro její uspořádání a zaměřuje se na výjimky ze zákazů sportovních akcí ve zvláště chráněných územích. Poslední kapitola se věnuje konkrétním sportovním akcím na území Krkonošského národního parku a sporům o vedení tras jednotlivých závodů přes vrchol Sněžky.The diploma thesis deals with issues of large-scale cycling and running events in special protected areas. The aim of the thesis is to provide a complete overview of the conditions that the organizer has to meet in order to organize the event. Next to answer the research qustion: What does it mean the large-scale sports event? The thesis consists of four chapters. In the first chapter, the author deals with individual aspects of sport and its relation to the environment. The second chapter deals with the definiton of general and special protection of nature with focus on large-scale special protected areas. The third chapter clarifies the issue of large-scale sports events, contains an overview of conditions for its organization and focuses on exceptions from the prohibitions sports events in special protecetd areas. The last chapter deals with specific sports events on the territory of the Krkonoše Mountains National Park and with the disputes about the race track of individual events through the peak Sněžka.
