Tato teoreticko-empirická diplomová práce zkoumá názory a postoje k eutanazii mezi studenty a seniory. Eutanazie je v aktuální době hodně diskutované téma. Objevuje se řada zastánců, kteří jsou pro její zavedení, ale i odpůrců, kteří s ní zásadně nesouhlasí. Teoretická část práce vysvětluje základní pojmy eutanazie, její historii a hlavní argumenty zastánců a odpůrců, ale také pohled na eutanazii v České republice z legislativního hlediska. Další kapitola přináší informativní přehled o tom, jak je to s eutanazií v některých zemích světa. Také je zde zmíněna paliativní péče a hospice. Empirické šetření je zaměřeno na realizaci kvantitativního výzkumu formou dotazníků u dvou skupin obyvatel: studentů a seniorů. Cílem výzkumu je zjistit, zda se liší názory a postoje vůči eutanazii mezi studenty a seniory. Z výsledků vyplývá, že většina studentů i seniorů je pro legalizaci eutanazie, nicméně v řadě věcí se jejich názory a postoje liší. Analýza dat je pro vizualizaci zachycených jevů doplněna grafy a tabulkami.This theoretical-empirical dissertation examines the views and attitudes towards euthanasia among students and senior citizens. Euthanasia is a widely discussed subject at this time. There are a number of supporters who are in favor of it, but also those who disagree strongly. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts of euthanasia, its history and the main arguments of the supporters and opponents, as well as the view of euthanasia in the Czech Republic from the legislative point of view. The next chapter provides an informative overview of how euthanasia is in some countries around the world. Also mentioned is palliative care and hospice care available. The empirical survey focuses on the results of quantitative research through a questionnaire to two groups: students and seniors. The aim of the research is to find out whether opinions and attitudes towards euthanasia differ between students and the elderly. The results show that most students and seniors are for legalizing euthanasia, but in a number of cases their opinions and attitudes differ. Data analysis is accompanied with charts and tables for visualization of pertinent observations.
