Cílem práce vytvořit adekvátní překlad díl ruské spisovatelky Mariji Semjonovové (1995). Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. V první čáti je definována tvorba a styl autorky a také žánr fantasy - slovanská fantasy. Dále jsou uvedeni další autoři fantasy literatury, čeští i zahraniční, a také čeští překladatelé fantasy literatury. Před samotným překladem první kapitoly románu (1995), je popsán proces překladu. Poté následuje samotný překlad, který je nejdůležitější částí dané práce. Po překladu jsou uvedeny překladatelské transformace, do kterých spadá překlad bezekvivalentního lexika, formální a sémantické transformace a překlad poezie. V závěru jsou uvedeny výsledky naší práce - povedlo-li se nám vytvořit adekvátní překlad první kapitoly knihy (1995).The aim of this thesis is create an adequate translation of the work of Mariya Semyonova (1995). The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part of this thesis, the work and writers style of Mariya Semyonova and the genre of slavic fantasy are described. Followed by a brief summary of another fantasy authors, both czech and foreign, as well as czech translators of fantasy literature. Before the main translation of the first chapter of the book (1995), the translation process is described. Next is the main translation itself, followed by translation transformations. Translation transformations include the tranaslation of non-equivalent lexicon, formal and semantic transformations and the translation of poetry. The conclusion presents the results of our work - whether we have created a suitable translation of the chapter of the book (1995) or not.
