Tato práce se zabývá tvůrčím využíváním oslovování a referování v rámci vybraného japonského televizního seriálu. Cílem bylo zjistit, jaké narativní funkce může plnit. Na základě kvantitativní a kvalitativní analýzy seriálových dialogů bylo zjištěno, že použití oslovení a referencí je narativním funkcím podřízeno a za tímto účelem často nerespektuje pravidla řečové etikety. Nejdůležitější funkcí je bezesporu charakterizace postav, avšak oslovení a reference hrají důležitou roli také v ukotvování vyprávění a postav v něm, slouží také jako motivace pro retrospektivní sekvence a může v kombinaci s dalšími narativními prostředky vytvářet humorné situace. Důležité jsou také variace mezi použitými termíny. Tvůrci si použití některých variant vyhrazují pro zvýraznění důležitých momentů. Oslovení takto často značí zásadní průlom ve vztahu mezi postavami a následně se jeho použití stává běžným.This research deals with the creative usage and problematic of addressing and referential addressing in the discourse of a selected Japanese tv drama. The aim of this research was to research the narrative functions present in the discourse. Based on the analysis of the drama´s dialogues, the conclusion is that the addressing usage is subordinate to narrative functions and as such does not always respect the rules of the speech etiquette. The most important function in this respect is undoubtedly cast characterization, but addressing and referential addressing also play an important role in structuring the narrative and characters, as they both serve as a motivation for retrospective sequences, and may, in combination with other narrative means, create possibly humorous situations. Equally important are also the variations between the addressing terms used. Series creators seem to use specific addressing variants to highlight important moments. As such, the addressing terms have the power to emphasize a crucial breakthrough in the relationship between characters and their use consequently becomes ordinary.
